Providing virtual assistance to ensure academic success during this time.
What's the problem?
The pandemic has disrupted education drastically with students forced to use online learning for the rest of the academic semester. This disruption to students' learning environments has caused many to start to fall behind in their assignments, while they lack the necessary resources (libraries or tutors) to help them to return on track. As such, students feel hopeless in their ability to ask for help in the manner that they are accustomed to.
What's our solution?
Six Feet Studying started up to help students who are struggling academically and unable to get tutoring or more assistance they had access to at school due to social distancing. We aim to help tutor and solidify understanding of academic material for students in all William S. Hart high schools during this time of need, bringing a form of tele-tutoring that can abides by social distancing to bring assistance to our fellow peers.
Our Research Process
We are organizing student tutors from all over the district, targeting students that specialize in various subjects.
With Six Feet Studying, students can use the platform Zoom to get into contact with fellow peers to further deepen their understanding of classwork and strengthen their skills and work academically.
